Anwar’s projects are rooted in futuristic and emotional insights.
Anwar got into experimenting with Blkot, an energetic local community dedicated exclusively – in every aspect – to documenting skate culture in all of its meaning and detail.
With this creative freedom, he records genuine situations of skateboarding in Tunis, representing both interaction and dynamism inside the community.

Night Dreamer, an independent experimental film, marked a significant departure for his artistic career.

Anwar follows the twists and turns of his dreams, pondering life, time and space.

An introspective travel of his own world, a gateway to other realities.

“ Dream Traveler is about dreams, a passage to other realities.”

A significant development in the young filmmaker’s career.
The Dream Traveler official film was then selected for the second edition of the CINEMANA short film days,organized by the Alliance Française de Tunis; took place from September 3 to 9, 2022 at the Cité des Sciences in Tunis.
For seven days, CINEMANA welcomed some 300 young cinephiles from 12 Tunisian cities for competitions, training and various events;

Dream Traveler goes far beyond being a simple cinematographic piece, it becomes a reflection of his own artistry & spirit.

Dream Traveler’s soundtrack plays an essential role in evoking the film’s dreamlike quality. Featuring the ethereal voice of Siwar Akremi, a singer whose melodies seem to float between wakefulness and reverie, the soundscape blends electronic rhythms with delicate, surreal tones. Siwar’s music becomes a dream within a dream, as if the very atmosphere were humming and breathing along with the images. Her voice, imbued with a subtle sense of nostalgia, amplifies the dreamlike travel, as she guides audiences on an auditory exploration of their inner worlds and emotions.
Fixed shots, silence punctuated by movement, self-portraits, and an inner geography all trace the life and thoughts of a young man who films not only with his camera but also with his heart.
Anwar stages himself, alone or accompanied by a few friends, in an almost intimate process, as if he were opening the doors to a secret diary, that of his inner journeys.
