Bochra Taboubi, a visionary artist and product designer born in 1993, honed her craft at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts of Tunis. Nature’s influence on her work dates back to her days as a design student.

Her fascination with the relationship between humans and nature started with her first academic project on biomimicry. It was during an academic project on biomimicry that Bochra‘s fascination with the philosophy of the human-nature relationship truly took root, igniting a desire to explore the deeper connections between art and scientific exploration. In her transformative residency at the “Centre des arts vivants Rades,” she unveiled her breathtaking art project, “Human Abyss,” a surrealistic experience that she meticulously crafted through drawing, animated images, sound effects, and music. This endeavor showcased her exceptional dedication to merging technical skill with artistic expression.

Delving further into her artistic exploration, Bochra immersed herself in the world of artificial life and fantastical creatures, inventing her own mythical repertoire to confront essential human issues through her art. Her outstanding works have been showcased in prestigious venues, including Konstfack in Stockholm, the Foreign Objekt collective in California, and the Die Angewandte festival in Vienna, where her art mesmerized audiences and left an indelible impression.
